Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a SAN Administrator to work in Pax River, MD. The candidate will support the Data Center managing multiple Storage Area Networks. Duties include installing fiber, provisioning storage, creating zones, creating aliases, creating host groups, updating switch firmware, and migrating data. The candidate will also shadow image and handle SAN health monitoring. Candidate will monitor all SAN environments using Brocade Data Center Fabric Manager (DCFM) enterprise class. Candidate will provide customer with software and hardware purchases relating to the SAN and respond to work orders generated by national help desk in support of NMCI and Corporate data center operations.
Additional Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years’ experience.
IAT II certification with Comp TIA Security+ and Symantec Certified Professional (Net Backup) or Brocade Certified SAN Manager within 6 months of starting.
Candidate must have a current Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret
